Identity: Branding Is So Much More Than A Logo And Headshot
Yesterday my twin sister and I played a little prank on our family by dressing up exactly the same. It was the first time we've looked identical in years, so I invited her to do a Facebook live with me. Check it out:
We talked about the importance of brand identity in a saturated market. See, most people hear the word 'brand' and immediately think of the visual aspects: business cards, logos, website, professional photos, etc.
Those things are definitely important, but your audience is more concerned with your brand identity.
Brand identity is your unique delivery of your services. Authenticity is key, because no one else can do what you do the way you do it (even if they look exactly like you!)
Consumers have been groomed to believe that most services and products are commodities. This negatively impacts entrepreneurs because they expect designer goods at Walmart prices.
If you're struggling to make consistent income, it could be because you haven't effectively communicated who you are!
But when you develop a strong brand identity, you effectively communicate the value you bring and create customer experiences that keep them coming back for more.
If you want to start the new year off right with a solid identity for your brand, keep your eye on my communications because I'm about to share the exact strategy I used to do just that.
